Jill Cholensky - The pain is real whether it’s from the loss of a parent, partner, child, friend or a family pet. Everyone deals with grief differently. Some people feel numb or in disbelief or even angry over losing a loved one. The road to recovery is finding adjustment, hope and purpose. Some common feelings of depression are lack of sleep, appetite and motivation. Let’s work on developing skills that work best for you. This will help with the day-to-day reality of losing your loved one. No one said it’s going to be easy, but with my dedication and help we can get to a place where you look forward to tomorrow. Its never to late to start your healing journey! I’d love to hear from you and at that point you can decide if we are a good fit. First we will complete a brief assessment and discuss yours goals. I am accepting new clients for Telehealth/Video. I am flexible with evenings and weekends. I am committed to returning calls, emails and texts back within 24 hrs. I am a Licensed Social Worker LSW currently working towards my MSW.

Grief is such a unique and individual experience. Whether you are coping with the death of a loved one, loss of a relationship, friend, family member, or job, loss can be a profound experience. Through therapy, you will have a safe space to explore these feelings. There is no right way to grieve and many people have a myriad of feelings that go along with the grief, including anger, guilt, shame, sadness, regret, or relief. We can explore all of these while you learn some coping skills to better manage your loss.

Because loss is a regular part of life, so is grieving. Grief is an understandable and natural response to change and transition. Some of the most severe losses include losing a dear partner, your job, family member or good friend. Perhaps the most difficult loss occurs when we lose our hopes and dreams. <br>I can help you move through your transitions. I can show you how to grieve in a healthy way so that your loss supports and matures you rather than tearing you down.
