Sex and sexuality conversations in the therapy room are rooted in this understanding. The work at times is helping you to be vulnerable with yourself to understand better what your needs and wants are and to be able to express these things to your partner.
Sex therapy can go beyond this to include sexual abuse and assault and what is commonly referred to as "sex addiction" but at PHL Therapy Collective is treated more as "out of control behavior" that focuses on the triggers that lead to sex seeking.
