Support for men's issues may encompass a journey through historical and contemporary ideals of masculinity. The belief is that the longstanding and still relevant notion that healthy males develop when positive role models are present to provide the emotional support and nurturing that is required to assist males to personally grow and develop. Therapy is designed (schema therapy methods, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, attachment approaches), fostering a healthy safe therapeutic alliance and tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs, to serve as a form of mentoring, aiding men in their emotional, spiritual, cognitive, psychological, and social development. This process includes learning how to navigate conflicts in a healthy manner, enhancing one's sense of self-worth and communication skills, and providing guidance for expressing emotions while managing problematic behaviors.
