***Accepting new clients - Contact me to book a free 1 hour consultation and get a response with upcoming availability within 24 hours.*** I believe therapy is as much about heart as it is about healing. I’m warm, compassionate, and yes — sometimes direct. I know the journey toward growth and healing isn’t simple — it can be messy, confusing, joyful, and painful all at once — but you don’t have to walk it alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns that don’t serve you, trying to figure out relationships, or recovering from trauma — I’m here to help you uncover your strength, understand your story, and move toward the life you hope for. I integrate a variety of therapeutic tools so that together, we find what works best for you. Your pace, your voice, your healing. If you’re ready to be seen, heard, and supported — I’m ready too.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I practice from an integrative framework, drawing on multiple modalities so I can tailor therapy uniquely for you. Some of the approaches I use include: Person‑Centered Therapy: You lead the way; I offer empathy, acceptance, and genuine connection. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Helping you understand, express, and process difficult emotions, particularly in relationships. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Working with thoughts and beliefs to reduce distress and build practical coping tools. Narrative Therapy: Examining the stories you tell about yourself and your life; rewriting narratives that limit you. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Learning skills to tolerate distress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): A practical, future-oriented approach that helps you identify what’s working and build on it — focusing on strengths, goals, and small, meaningful changes. Internal Family Systems (IFS): Exploring inner parts, understanding self‑leadership, and healing internal conflict. Compassion‑Focused Therapy (CFT): Cultivating self‑compassion, understanding shame, and developing kindness toward self. Psychoanalytic Therapy: Deep exploration of unconscious patterns, past influences, and how early relationships shape current life. I adapt these depending on what you need — the choice is yours whether you prefer gentler guidance or more direct, structured work. My goal is to help you feel empowered, heard, and capable of growth.
