I believe therapy works best when you can show up as a whole person, not a diagnosis or collection of symptoms. My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and down to earth. I value humor, honesty, compassion, and creating a space where you do not have to perform, have everything figured out, or leave important parts of yourself outside the therapy room.
I am especially drawn to working with people who think and feel deeply, experience anxiety or overwhelm, or are searching for a more sustainable way of moving through life. I want to understand what you are struggling with, but also who you are, what matters to you, what has shaped you, and what your mind and body may be communicating about what you need.
There is room in therapy for the personal and the political, for grief and anger, for relationships and identity, and for conversations about work, community, nature, oppressive systems, social conditions, and the world around us. My hope is to help you build a deeper relationship with yourself and create a life that feels more connected, intentional, and genuinely yours.

Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Social Constructionist Therapy Looks at how social and cultural context shapes identity and problems. It helps clients create new narratives of meaning.
Approach Description: My approach is holistic, relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I draw from feminist and systemic therapy, relational approaches, mindfulness and body-based practices, nature-informed perspectives, and evidence-based strategies for body-focused repetitive behaviors. My work is liberation-oriented and acknowledges the ways oppressive systems and social conditions can shape mental health and well-being. I believe therapy can support both deeper self-understanding and greater agency within the world around us
I am interested in both what is happening within you and what is happening around you. Rather than viewing every struggle as an individual problem to fix, we can explore your relationships, environment, history, identities, nervous system, daily rhythms, values, and the social conditions influencing your life.
Therapy may include deeper reflection, practical strategies, experimentation with new routines, boundary work, mindfulness, reconnecting with your body or nature, and questioning expectations that no longer serve you. The goal is not to fit you into a predetermined version of wellness, but to discover what greater connection and well-being actually look like for you.

My practice provides holistic, relational psychotherapy for older teens and adults in California and Colorado. I specialize in anxiety, body-focused repetitive behaviors such as hair pulling and skin picking, ADHD and neurodivergence, highly sensitive people, burnout, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and social or political stress.
Mental health does not exist separately from the rest of our lives. Our work may consider emotional and relational patterns alongside sleep, movement, nourishment, daily rhythms, connection with nature, community, identity, work, creativity, rest, and the environments we move through.
My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, with an awareness of how oppressive systems, discrimination, economic pressures, political events, climate concerns, and broader social conditions can affect individual and collective well-being.
