Life can look perfectly fine on paper and still feel overwhelming. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who are used to being the ones others rely on, yet privately struggle with anxiety, OCD, self-doubt, or relationship challenges. My approach is warm, practical, and focused on helping clients understand the patterns keeping them stuck so they can feel more confident, grounded, and equipped to navigate life's challenges.
Client Focus
Session Format: Couple, Individual sessions.
Age Specialty: Adult
Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Before becoming a therapist, I worked within the financial services and technology sectors, giving me firsthand insight into demanding work environments, high expectations, and the challenges many professionals face when trying to balance career success with their personal lives.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and practical. I help clients understand the patterns that may be contributing to their struggles, whether that's a harsh inner critic, people-pleasing, fear of failure, difficulty tolerating uncertainty, or habits that once helped but are no longer serving them. The goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to help clients feel more confident, more resilient, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges without feeling consumed by them.
