Welcome! I work with adults who are ready to look beneath the surface and understand what’s really driving their struggles. I’m particularly drawn to the complicated places where old experiences show up in current relationships, self-doubt, anxiety, grief, or the ways we protect ourselves.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without having to perform, explain everything perfectly, or make your pain more palatable. We’ll take your experience seriously while also being willing to question the stories you’ve been carrying about yourself.
The work can be challenging. It can also be surprisingly relieving to finally have somewhere to put all of it.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
- Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: I am a psychodynamic therapist blending relational, trauma-focused care with tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), modern Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
My approach is relational and depth-oriented, with an emphasis on understanding the patterns that may not be as obvious to us. We’ll pay attention not only to what is happening in your life now, but also to the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and adaptations that helped shape how you move through the world. I’m interested in the whole picture rather than simply trying to make an uncomfortable symptom disappear.
I bring warmth, curiosity, directness, and evidence-based care to the work. I won’t assume I know you better than you know yourself, but I also won’t be afraid to gently challenge something when I think there’s more to uncover.

My practice is intentionally focused on deeper, ongoing therapeutic work rather than quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions.
People come to me for many reasons: anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationships that keep getting complicated, grief that has changed them, persistent self-doubt, the effects of difficult or unstable family relationships, or simply the sense that something isn’t quite right despite everything they’ve accomplished.
My practice is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that good therapy requires both compassion and honesty. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly organized explanation of what’s wrong. We can start with what you know, what you’re noticing, and what isn’t working anymore.
