Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic, and trauma symptoms prevent those who live with them from getting to fully inhabit their lives. Forever stuck in a mental movie of either a catastrophic, imagined future or an irredeemably tarnished past, you're forced to erect a living at the margins of your life, perpetually trying to protect and perfect a life you never get to actually live. I know this from both firsthand and professional experience. It is, therefore, my great privilege to support individuals who live with these conditions to return to living as they have always wanted to- that is, fully...imperfectly...thoroughly, and free.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
Approach Description: I use a combination of complimentary therapies to treat OCD, anxiety, panic, and trauma symptoms, including Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other mindfulness-based approaches.
