Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Play Therapy Uses toys, games, and creative play to help children express emotions. It is especially useful when children can’t fully verbalize their feelings.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

I believe it takes strength and courage to come to therapy. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be getting in the way of living your best life.
I take an integrated approach to therapy, incorporating mindfulness, meditation, somatic awareness, and other evidence-based approaches to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create meaningful change. As a certified EMDR practitioner, I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including physical, emotional, and interpersonal trauma.
I bring a unique perspective to my work with individuals and families involved in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court system. Having personally navigated the Probate and Family Court system for more than a decade, I understand how complex, stressful, and overwhelming these proceedings can be. This personal experience, combined with my professional training as a clinician, GAL, and Parenting Coordinator, allows me to offer a perspective that is both clinically informed and grounded in an understanding of the realities of high-conflict family systems.
In addition to individual therapy, I provide Parenting Coordination services, Guardian ad Litem investigations and consultations, and therapeutic support for high-conflict couples and families. I have particular experience working with individuals impacted by narcissistic abuse, coercive control, trauma, and difficult or disrupted parent-child relationships.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel empowered, develop healthier patterns, and move toward greater stability, self-understanding, and fulfillment.
I see clients via telehealth and in person at my office in Boston.
