I work with individuals, couples and families on a full range of issues: anxiety, depression, divorce, dealing with life changes, child and adolescent problems, relationship issues, etc. My style is active and eclectic. In some situations I will work actively with people to find concrete techniques to deal with specific problems. In other cases I am largely a listener while people explore their own thoughts and experiences. As a a family therapist I am attentive to the impact of the significant others around us, and to the strengths that individuals and families have. I work with families around child and adolescent issues, but I also work with families where all the members are adults, and they are dealing with issues of conflict or communication or other issues that have arisen in the family. Much of my practice is also with couples, both married and unmarried couples.
