Approach Description: Welcome, I'm Vicky Mould, the founder and owner of Azalea Counselling. As a mental health therapist and bereavement counsellor, I have worked with people experiencing loss and grief (including baby loss), the effects of domestic abuse, carer stress, work-related stress, relationship issues, parenting issues, depression, postnatal depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, BPD/EUPD and PTSD. If any of these life challenges resonate with you, I can be there for you, too. I can offer an environment where you can explore, reflect and find your sense of coping, healing or wellbeing. I'm down-to-earth, friendly-natured and compassionate, and I aim to put you at ease from our first contact. You'll be welcome as you are. You can talk to me without the fear of being criticised or judged, and you will be heard and understood - perhaps for the first time. But we don't have to rely solely on talking - we can use art or other creative mediums (including everyday objects around the home) to help you express and make sense of what's going on for you. At the heart of my approach is a trusted counselling relationship. I'll work to establish a relationship where you feel genuinely safe, supported and empowered. I can work with you to make the life choices or changes that you want to make. - Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
- I offer an initial one-hour consultation at a cost of £35. Any subsequent therapy sessions are charged at my standard rate of £55 per one-hour session or an agreed concession based on your circumstances. Please note that concessions are reserved for students or those on low incomes, including universal credit or pension credit.
