If you feel overwhelmed by stress, stuck in spirals of anxiety or depression, uncertain about how to navigate a life transition, or disconnected in your relationship, you are not alone—and change is possible. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear to manage well on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck internally. Some are professionals dealing with job trauma, individuals navigating difficult life transitions, or people who find themselves overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, struggling with motivation and low mood, or committed couples caught in patterns of miscommunication and feeling disconnected.
I help individuals and couples in Katy and the West Houston area find relief from anxiety, depression, stress, job-related trauma, and relationship challenges. Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) combined with practical cognitive and mindfulness-based strategies, I help clients process distressing experiences, reduce emotional overwhelm, and develop healthier ways of thinking, communicating, and responding to stress. Many clients find this approach helpful when traditional talk therapy alone has not fully resolved lingering anxiety, stress, or emotional triggers.

Treatment Approach
- Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) A trauma-focused therapy that uses eye movements and imagery to help the brain reframe distressing memories. It often leads to quicker relief from symptoms compared to traditional talk therapy.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Reality Therapy / Choice Theory Focuses on present choices and taking responsibility for actions. It helps clients create more fulfilling relationships and lives.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: The clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are thoughtful, capable people who feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm despite trying hard to manage things on their own. Many are professionals dealing with workplace stress or job-related trauma, individuals navigating difficult life transitions, or people who find themselves overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, or struggling with motivation and low mood.
Some clients come to therapy because past experiences or stressful situations continue to affect how they react in the present—leading to anxiety, irritability, sleep difficulties, or feeling easily overwhelmed. Others seek support because communication challenges or recurring conflicts are creating distance in their relationship, and they want to reconnect and understand each other better.
If you’re someone who values insight and personal growth but would also like practical tools to feel calmer, think more clearly, and improve your relationships, therapy can provide the structure and support to help you move forward.

Many people come to therapy feeling frustrated because they understand their challenges but still feel stuck in the same uncomfortable patterns. Insight alone is often not enough—our brains and bodies can continue reacting to stress or past experiences even when we logically know things are safe.
One of the approaches I specialize in is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based method that helps the brain process distressing memories, stress, and emotional triggers so they no longer feel as overwhelming. ART works by using guided eye movements to help the brain “recode” how distressing experiences are stored, often allowing clients to experience relief more quickly than traditional talk therapy alone.
In addition to ART, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and practical coping strategies to help clients better understand emotional patterns, improve communication, develop healthier responses to stress and leave sessions with tools they can use in everyday life. My goal is not only to help you understand what is happening—but to help you experience meaningful relief and lasting change.
In couples therapy, I incorporate Gottman method resources to help committed partners slow down reactive patterns, improve communication, and better understand each other’s perspectives and emotional needs. Together we work on developing healthier ways of navigating conflict, strengthening emotional connection, and rebuilding trust when relationships feel disconnected.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that our work together is both supportive and practical, combining deeper emotional insight with strategies that help them feel calmer, clearer, confident and more in control of moving forward.
