I am a licensed clinical psychologist in IL, WI, and New York. I am also Psypact registered allowing me to practice telehealth in multiple states. I provide individual and couples therapy. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy allowing for the balancing of mind and body. I place an emphasis on mindfulness and acceptance in my therapeutic approach allowing you to evolve in a meaningful way. Navigating that evolution can be difficult and uncomfortable, my job is to help you through that process. To facilitate your transformation I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. My areas of interests are multicultural issues, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, and crisis intervention. I work with individuals from across the lifespan and lifestyles including traditional and non-traditional students, LGBTQIA+ community, first generation individuals, and individuals from diverse ethnicities. I strive to provide the best care to all individuals.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
