Have you ever thought, "I know why I do this... so why do I keep doing it?" Many of my clients have been to therapy before, gained valuable insight, and learned coping skills, yet still find themselves repeating the same emotional and relationship patterns. If you're ready to move beyond understanding yourself intellectually and get to the root of what's keeping you stuck, I'd love to help.

Treatment Approach
- Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) Trauma-informed therapy that helps individuals explore deeply held, painful emotional experiences within a safe, attuned therapeutic relationship.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: Clients often tell me they feel genuinely understood, supported, and that I'm "right there with them" throughout the process. My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I'll ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns as they emerge, and gently challenge you when it helps move the work forward. It's important to me that you know you're not facing difficult emotions alone.
Rather than simply talking about your experiences, we'll slow down, stay curious about what's happening in the moment, and work with emotions as they unfold. I pay close attention to the subtle shifts in emotion, body sensations, and patterns that emerge in session because they often become the doorway to understanding yourself in a way that thinking alone can't provide. Healing shouldn't just make sense, it should feel different.

I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, high-achieving adults who are ready to go beyond symptom management and explore the deeper roots of their emotional patterns. Many of my clients are insightful and successful, yet continue to struggle with anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, or feeling disconnected in their relationships.
I'm trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), an experiential approach that helps people move beyond insight to process emotions in a way that fosters lasting emotional and relational change. My wish is to help you develop a deeper connection with yourself, greater confidence in your emotions as valuable guides, and relationships that feel more authentic, secure, and fulfilling.
