Hi, I'm Caitlin, owner of Novo Counseling and Wellness, PLLC. I am a passionate psychotherapist who prioritizes educating and empowering my patients. I believe that everything you need to heal already exists within you, we just have to help you learn to access the power of your mind and body and harness your internal resources. I utilize highly effective and evidenced based methods such as EMDR and ART, to address the root of your symptoms. Treating things holistically at the source of our problems is the only way to achieve true change and healing in ourselves. I love being able to be a part of my patient's journey to wellness and watch them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Caitlin Derouen Practice Description
Novo is the Latin work for "Renew, Refresh, and Revive." I help my patients to learn the tools necessary to renew their mental wellbeing, refresh their perspective, and revive their motivation for the things they truly care about in life. I do this utilizing my experience with evidence based practices in therapy such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Ego State and Structural Dissociation, and Mindfulness/Body Based approaches like Trauma Informed Yoga and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Novo Counseling and Wellness offers both in person therapy sessions at our tranquil office suite surrounded by grass and trees in Chandler, AZ. We also offer the option of virtual sessions for your safety and convenience through a secure and HIPPA compliant patient portal. Hours are 8 am-6 pm, Monday-Thursday. These appointments are offered on a first come first serve basis based on availability.
