I have years of training and experience in working with this issue. I work closely with my patients to address their ability to forgive others as well as themselves. Shame is one of the number one things that keeps us stuck in our pain and makes it difficult for us to move forward from the past. I focus on treating shame and self criticism using Compassion Focused Therapy, Ego State Therapy, EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
