I focus on mindfulness techniques to bring awareness to the self-limiting beliefs we've internalized because we can't change what we're not aware of. Through a combination of talk therapy and Brainspotting, I assist clients in overcoming anxious thought patterns and past traumas, silencing their inner critics, and stepping into a more serene and empowered life.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Brainspotting A therapy that uses eye positions to access and process unresolved trauma. It helps release emotional and physical pain held in the body.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
Approach Description: I incorporate a variety of techniques from CBT, mindfulness, Brainspotting, and feminist therapy to help you better uncover the thoughts and beliefs you have internalized from your family, culture, and society at-large that helped you navigate your own upbringing, but may not longer work well for you. Once we identify the thoughts and beliefs that influence how you feel, we can work to challenge some of them, and re-write a new story that better fits with the life you want. - I am an out-of-network provider and can provide you with a superbill which allows you to request paartial reimbursement for services from your insurance provider.
