I like to offer clients a comfortable and personable experience. Therapy should feel like an easy conversation with someone you trust. The first comment I often receive from clients is that they feel like I am someone who is familiar to them and that they feel very comfortable talking to me. I have worked with couples, families and individuals for over fourteen years, with a goal of helping clients tap into their strengths to facilitate change, let go of the burdens of the past, focus on the present, and envision a bright future.

Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychoeducational Therapy Provides education and coping tools about mental health conditions. It empowers clients with knowledge and practical skills.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.

I offer only telehealth sessions at the moment. You will be met with a safe and nonjudgmental attitude. I called my practice Letting Go Counseling because I know that we all hold on to things for longer than we need to and continue to breathe life into them, long after we should have let go. However, I also know that letting go is easier said that done. No one can tell us when it is time to do so. We have to come to that place on our own. I am only here to help you decide that and to support you as you go through this journey. You are the expert in your life, I am only here to help.
I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I will work with you to address issues such as trauma/PTSD, infidelity, loss, guilt/shame, anxiety, depression, sex & intimacy, sexuality, anger, coping, co-parenting, blended families, communication, compromise, mindfulness, recovery, trust, infidelity, and more. I am a Clinical Sexologist, Certified Sex Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who has been trained in Cognitive Processing, EMDR, Trauma Resolution, Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 1), and more. I specialize in trauma, addictions and couples therapy.
I have a vast knowledge of resources available to families and individuals in the community. I have collaborated with other agencies such as Department of Corrections, Drug Court, ChildNet, CPT, and Women in Distress in the past, in order to ensure that every need of my client is met. My work is a passion and every client is treated with the utmost respect and given empathy and validation.
