My personal philosophy around therapy is that it is a tool used to help you on your journey until you are ready to let go of the helping hand and navigate your world using the coping skills, tools and resources you gained in therapy. Together we will work to reduce your emotional pain.
I work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy lens which looks at thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how they are connected. Feelings like these can feel unmanageable, so we will focus on how to look at behaviors and perceptions to feel better.
