Covington Behavioral Health is located in Covington, LA. We are a licensed 60-bed center providing compassionate treatment for adult and geriatric individuals. We treat men and women who are experiencing changes in their emotional and mental wellbeing and offer inpatient care, partial hospitalization(PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) services. At Covington, we know that each individual who comes to us for help brings their own strengths, challenges, and goals. We are dedicated to providing tailored care that gives each of our patients the best possible chance of leading a healthy life. We are the top provider of psychiatric services in the Gulf South region, and our team includes highly experienced psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, counselors, activity therapists, and mental health techs. In addition, we employ a dietitian, social workers who are certified in gerontology, and physicians certified in forensic psychiatry and addictionology. The range of disorders that we treat includes schizophrenia, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychotic disorders, and personality disorders. We are not an addiction treatment center, but we do offer detox services prior to inpatient care for those who are struggling with alcohol and/or drug abuse.
