Welcome! I'm a clinical psychologist with nearly a decade of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I see children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5 and up with depression, chronic PTSD and dissociation, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. My clients present with a range of concerns, including anxiety, ruminative thoughts, shame feelings, and perfectionism. Having had extensive experience in both psychodynamic psychotherapy and Trauma Focused-CBT, I take an integrative approach when working with clients-I collaborate with you and your child to tailor your goals and address needs for treatment.
While we would tailor treatment to further draw out and address your goals, I work to help you get to know yourself-to name and regulate a range of feelings, identify negative beliefs about yourself, others, or the world, and find healthier ways to cope with strong feelings. I also consider how your past history is relevant to your present relationships.
The decision to seek therapy is such a courageous one. I think, oftentimes, we can tell ourselves that we can "think through" or "solve problems" entirely on our own-it's so difficult to reach out for support! I work at a pace that feels manageable for you or your child, focusing on creating a warm and collaborative alliance for therapy and assessment.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Object Relations Therapy Focuses on how early caregiver relationships shape current relationships. It aims to improve patterns of attachment and trust.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
Approach Description: I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to provide you with skills to regulate a range of emotions and anxiety, and to help you to understand yourself better and make decisions that work for you, in all domains of life. I am also certified in Trauma Focused CBT, and use this modality with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced a traumatic event and are experiencing symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I tend to focus on the therapeutic alliance and helping relationship, as this is often the key to a successful treatment. Others have described my approach as warm, open, and calm, with sufficient structure to ensure you're getting the most out of your therapy.

- Online Therapy Details: I am licensed through PsyPact to provide teletherapy. Teletherapy is comparable to in-person therapy, and can be convenient for those with a busy weekly schedule. For teletherapy to be effective, you will need a reliable WiFi connection and access to a private space to ensure confidentiality. I use a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform for all video sessions. If there are any safety concerns, we would make a detailed safety plan prior to working together which would entail utilizing a higher level of care temporarily before resuming sessions.
