The many successes achieved by my clients continue to fulfill my professional life. Be it as a hypnotist, hypnotherapist, or educator, I have witnessed those with whom I have worked accomplish so much because of their hard work, made easier through hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and their use of self-hypnosis. As I always tell my clients: "Your successes are 95% your doing. I have simply been your guide, in bringing out your potential." At the same time, I teach clients self-hypnosis so that they are able to self-manage challenges that may arise moving forward. Increasing confidence and motivation at a subconscious level, has propelled them toward achieving their goals and objectives far sooner than would otherwise be the case. I feel privileged to have joined so many individuals during a formative part of their journey. I encourage you to engage thoughtful evaluation when choosing a hypnotherapist. It is important to weigh each professional’s education, training, diversified experience, and competence as communicated by professionals in the same or related fields. In these regards, kindly visit my website at www.HypnosisMotivation.com. There you will learn what both clients and professionals have written about my service delivery. Their testimonials address my performance in private practice; the work I have done educating and training psychologists and marriage and family therapists throughout California; an overview of my work as a Senior Clinical Instructor in a medical center's pain clinic; and my service delivery as an adjunct professor, teaching hypnosis / hypnotherapy subject matter classes for the Department of Educational Psychology at California State Northridge. Beyond the foregoing the deciding factor in your choice of a hypnotherapist should be your own compatibility assessment with that individual, following a consultation about your expectations, goals, and objectives. I welcome you to have a consultation with me, at no charge, in these regards. You can phone me at (805) 358-1011 or email me at Stuart@HypnosisMotivation.com. Be well, Stuart

Treatment Approach
- Hypnotherapy Uses guided relaxation and focus to access the subconscious mind. It is often used for habits, anxiety, and pain management.
Approach Description: Most all my clients successfully achieve their goals and objectives in fewer sessions than they initially expected. This is because I do not structure sessions around a clinical hour of 45 or 50 minutes. Initial sessions average 2 hours. Second sessions average 1 1/2 hours. Subsequent sessions are rarely if ever shorter than 1 hour and frequently are longer. The Sessions Content page of my website ( see below) provides a description of my approach, focused on my clients achieving their goals and objectives in the fewest number of sessions that is professionally responsible.
Your completion of a 8-15 page Life History Questionnaire allows me to tailor a program of hypnotherapy unique to your needs. In doing so, your progress begins with momentum, rather than at a snail's pace.
For use during your hypnotherapy I create written visualization exercises, best described as "waking dreams." In that dreams are created within our subconscious, it is my contention that dream like images are the language of our subconscious. Guiding hypnotized clients to visualize themselves achieving their goals, is far more powerful than simply stating post hypnotic suggestions. The results are like night and day!
Each session involves a written progress review, specific to each goal and objective. This allows us to stay on task. It also assures that I stay on target with my services delivery, while helping you to slay on course at attaining your goals.
Toward the end of our work together, I teach each client two specific approaches to self-hypnosis. My goal is to empower my clients to self-manage challenges in their life moving forward. See: Hypnotherapy Sessions Content: https://www.hypnosismotivation.com/services/sessions-content/

As a hypnotherapist, with 58 years of experience, my scope of practice most often has involved life coaching and self-improvement counseling. Additionally, by way of referrals from physicians and psychotherapists, I often addressed issues beyond those involving self-improvement counseling. This has been a unique aspect of my practice over many years. I address the little things that the majority of people struggle with on a daily basis. Most everyone wants to implement change in one way or another. Improving one's golf game, increasing confidence and motivation, reducing stress, improving sleep quality, smoking cessation, addressing one's fear of public speaking, and much more are included in my specialties. A complete list of the issues I frequently address can be found on my website at www.HypnosisMotivation.com
