In counseling I offer full acceptance, listen with deep empathy, and work with you to find resolution, helping you break free of actions and thoughts that limit and harm you into ways that help you and your relationships flourish. We will also look deeper into how your early life experience harmed and limited you from your true heart and vibrant relationships. I bring psychotherapeutic expertise and fresh eyes to our meeting, with a welcoming spirit, but you the client are the expert on yourself, so we work as a team together. I believe healing comes on the one hand through recognizing and becoming free of those habits of action and thought (conscious and unconscious) that limit and harm you, and on the other hand finding and fostering your true and unique beauty that has been neglected. This honest self-reflection may cause pain and anxiety and so it requires courage and commitment rooted in self-compassion as well as support from others. This effort often leads to intensified emotions in our times together, and this is welcomed and valued. We all need help working through life’s issues, and therapy is a safe place to make this happen.
