Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Biofeedback / Neurofeedback Teaches people to control body or brain activity using real-time monitoring. It’s often used for stress, anxiety, ADHD, and migraines.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
- Transactional Analysis Explores interactions through the lens of Parent, Adult, and Child roles. It aims to improve communication and self-awareness.
- Transpersonal Therapy Integrates spirituality and higher states of consciousness with psychology. It encourages growth beyond the individual self.
Approach Description: Our approach is based on the belief that symptoms—whether anxiety, depression, trauma reactions, or relationship struggles—are signals pointing toward deeper, unresolved experiences. Instead of only treating surface symptoms, we guide clients into uncovering the root causes of their struggles, allowing for lasting healing and transformation.
We blend evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) with holistic modalities like somatic therapy, neurofeedback, and mindfulness practices. This integrative model allows us to address the root cause at multiple levels—thoughts, emotions, body, and relationships.
Clients begin by exploring the symptoms or patterns that are causing distress, and then gently trace them back to underlying emotional wounds, unprocessed trauma, or core beliefs. As insight emerges, we help release stored pain, build new coping strategies, and create a healthier foundation for relationships and daily life. The outcome is not only relief from symptoms but a more authentic, connected, and resilient sense of self.
