My approach is to move beyond simply talking through issues and help you get to the roots where the healing can be done. I incorporate a number of tools and skills that are customized for your needs. I will help you figure out what is causing you to struggle and we will to work together to navigate through it. Approach Description: My approach is to collaborate with you to design the therapy according to your needs. We will work together to decide what to bring up in session what sort of homework assignments to do, and check in along the way to see if any adjustment are needed. I do a lot of skills training and can provide you with all sorts of resources if you are interested. I believe that therapy is about more than just talking, it is also about action. And I know it can be hard, that is why I am here to support you!

Jeffrey Gianelli Practice Description
I specialize in trauma-informed care and have worked with many people with a trauma history, or those who have suffered from a recent tragedy. I also have a lot of experience working with people with issues such as Anxiety, Social Anxiety, relationship issues, self esteem issues and more. By understanding the impact of trauma, we can understand why we are the way we are and what to do to help ourselves. I am fully certified in EMDR which has helped so many with not only trauma, but many other issues as well. Some of the approaches I am trained in are ACT, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness. Also, I teach a lot of self-compassion, because most of us need it! Special populations I work with are LGBTQIA+, working professionals, and people on a spiritual path.
