Panic, nervousness, fatigue, irritability, fear, sadness, avoidance, isolation, emotional roller coasters, low self esteem and no self worth are completely common in people. Unfortunately, so many are scared to admit their feelings and they end up suffering alone in silence. You can see a therapist who won’t call you crazy, won’t judge or condemn you, and will treat you with the respect that you deserve (even if you are not sure you do right now). Being able to wake up each morning and go to bed at night without the symptoms and fears that there is something wrong with you is possible. The plan in therapy is to help you have peace and be proud of who you are.
Please do not believe that you are the problem and that you are wrong for seeking a therapist. I want to help you at the pace that works for you. Currently, I offer online therapy; while you may be skeptical (I was too), I have found my clients prefer this mode after trying only one session. From the comfort of a safe location we can talk, build a rapport, and decide if you are comfortable allowing me to work with you. I often tell my clients “it’s you and me...we are in this together”.
