Kim Gengler Practice Description
If experiences created our self defeat then experiences heal them. By engaging you in new, reparative experiences of yourselves, you can develop an embodied sense of worthiness and wellbeing. Using a combination of Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and somatic psychology approaches, I work with individuals (adults and late-stage adolescents) and couples to resolve the impact of shame and fear. These therapeutic frameworks are experiential in nature and support the awareness-building, processing, and integration of self-defeating spirals.
