Hi! Thank you for considering me to be your therapist! I really enjoy helping my clients meet their goals. I'm an experienced therapist who is kind, creative, non judgmental and resourceful. I'm an LPCC and an art therapist and I am trained in EMDR. Most of my clients are coming to me to work on feeling less anxious, shift negative thought patterns, tackle rumination, overcome depression or learn how to navigate symptoms of ADHD. I'm a fellow ADHDer and have extensive training in all things neurodivergence including RSD, PDA, burnout, executive functioning skills and common co-occuring medical issues.

Treatment Approach

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
  • Art Therapy Uses creative activities like drawing, painting, or sculpture as a way to express emotions. It is especially helpful when words are hard to find.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I've been a therapist since 2001 and I have two Master degrees one in Art Therapy and one in Counseling. I am also trained in EMDR. Over the years, I have studied evidence based theories including ACT, CBT. BDT and mindfulness and self compassion. I have an extensive tool box of skills and interventions & can help clients using a variety of approaches.
