My clinical experience with trauma includes a specialization in graduate school of Psychological Trauma Studies and a completion of training of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). In this manner, the individual is able to access internal and external supports and resources for the mind and body that may not have been available during the traumatic event or events.
I have recovered my own trauma prior to becoming a trauma specialist. I suffered from PTSD my entire life without knowing what was wrong with me, but I don’t live with PTSD anymore. I am no longer traumatized and I can help you get there as well.
All the clinicians in the practice have had significant experience in working with trauma and PTSD and are skilled in helping clients work through trauma, including childhood sexual abuse, adult sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and other life trauma.
