My ideal client is looking for practical support overcoming problems with binge-eating, insomnia, anxiety, depression, or distress caused by a medical condition. As your psychologist, my first goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where you can feel comfortable openly sharing your struggles. Together, we’ll identify your goals, figure out what’s getting in the way of change, and develop practical steps to move forward. I regularly measure progress to ensure therapy is focused and effective, helping you feel better while gaining insight and skills to maintain your progress long after therapy ends.
Client Focus
Session Format: Individual sessions.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Biopsychosocial Therapy Takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding mental health. It looks at the whole person, not just symptoms.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
Approach Description: My approach is grounded in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy and the biopsychosocial model, recognizing that psychological, behavioral, and physiological factors are deeply interconnected. I view the mind and body not as separate systems, but as dynamic and interdependent, with thoughts, emotions, behaviors, physical symptoms, and health conditions continually influencing one another. My work is collaborative, practical, and individualized, drawing from established approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-I, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help patients understand the patterns that contribute to distress and develop sustainable strategies for improving both psychological and physical well-being.
