While we're in session, sometimes I like to screen share resources and informational videos. These can help us dig in and discuss things. I can also send worksheets and articles, which can be downloaded and worked on outside of counseling.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I use CBT, DBT, ACT, and movement, like Somatic Psychotherapy and encouraging exercise or moving your body in ways that feels right for you, to help address root causes.

Like most specialty providers, I do not participate in any insurance plans.
Paying out-of-pocket is a great option for people who want maximum privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility.
$105 per 35-45 minute session
I accept HSA cards and most major credit cards.
*Ask about receiving a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement*
(*excludes Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries.)
(Also, I am unable to work with Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries due to restrictions.)
If you're on a tight budget, we can reduce the fee. Some counselors ask for income to determine a sliding scale fee, but I prefer that people choose what works best for them. If you need this option, let me know which fee between $50 and $90 works best for you.
4 FAQs:
1. How participatory are you during sessions?
I participate in every session. There are times where the client does most of the talking and they find it very helpful. There are also times when I talk more because I’m teaching or sharing valuable information.
2. How long should I commit to being in therapy, at least in the beginning?
You should expect a weekly, 35-45 minute session. The frequency and length of therapy depends on your progress and goals. It varies from person to person. I’ve worked with people for three months and I’ve worked with people for years. We will collaborate about how you’re feeling and the progress that you’re making.
3. What is the best part of the work for you?
Seeing the person’s transformation. Therapy is tough, but it’s a wonderful journey. People come to me hurting, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, etc. When they finish services, they are in a healthier place.
4. Do you assign homework, activities, or reading for me to do between sessions? Why or why not?
Yes, I assign homework, activities, and reading for you to do between sessions. Having homework and activities to do between sessions teaches people how to support themselves, build up coping skills, and problem solving strategies. It’s important to learn the skills during session and then apply them outside. People who complete their homework tend to grow the most.
I used a platform called SimplePractice, this is what I use to send you mental health resources and assignments. You will set up a client portal before we get started working together.
