Soaring Heart Center Practice Description
Our practice consists of four therapists and two coaches who are actively taking new clients. Kathy G. Slaughter, LCSW, the practice founder and lead therapist, provides supervision for the entire time. Their expertise began with healing from childhood trauma (CPSTD) over 15 years ago. In the last decade, Kathy's focus shifted to working with those who have diverse genders, sexual expressions, and relationship styles. With a TEDx Talk called “Love Lessons from Open Relationships” that's reached over 300,000 people among other unique trainings focused on consensual non-monogamy, it's clear Soaring Heart is the most open-minded and evidence-based practice you'll find in the Midwest.
