Treatment Approach
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: My approach is best described as integrative, meaning that it combines methods and ideas from different schools of thought. It's based on the idea that no single psychotherapeutic approach can be effective with all people, for all concerns, in all contexts. I have focused my awareness, knowledge, and skills on trauma, and the primary therapeutic method I use is EMDR.

I specialize in trauma-informed practices and I currently serve a broad spectrum of adult individuals. My therapeutic approach is non-diagnostic, person-centered, and integrative. I primarily utilize EMDR therapy, along with complementary "top-down" and "bottom-up" techniques to address root causes. With compassion and understanding, I work with each person to help build on strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
