As you move through life's many phases, it can be hard to hear your own voice clearly amid everyone else’s expectations. I coach people navigating transitions. Those shifts in career, relationships, identity, and purpose. Together, we make space to take stock, reconnect with your wisdom, and discover what feels true for your next chapter. My approach brings together deep listening, compassionate inquiry, mindfulness, and reflective writing. I offer a free consultation to explore what you’re looking for and whether coaching is a good fit.

I’m Vanessa Timmons, an ICF Associate Certified Coach and a longtime practitioner working with survivors of childhood trauma and women navigating change. After more than 40 years in nonprofit leadership, anti-violence advocacy, and organizational consulting, I bring both professional experience and a deep respect for the wisdom people develop through difficult times.
I work especially with people who are asking, “Who am I now, and what do I want next?” A change in work, family, relationships, or sense of identity can bring uncertainty alongside possibility. Our work begins with reflection: time to listen to what you are feeling, notice patterns that may no longer serve you, and reconnect with your values, voice, and desires.
My coaching is trauma-informed and draws on mindfulness, somatic awareness, journaling, and my study of interpersonal neurobiology. We move at a pace that supports reflection and meaningful action. You do not need to arrive with a clear plan. We can begin with what is present and find your next steps together.
I offer individual coaching, groups, and workshops. If you’re curious about working together, I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation.
