I have experience working with individuals who struggle with their self esteem. In my practice, I collaborate with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of their unique experiences. Together, we develop personalized strategies and provide practical tools to help them effectively manage and navigate through challenging times.
With the psychodynamic approach, the client will know the causes and roots that led him to his problem; for what it is necessary an in-depth analysis of the personality by putting greater focus on the current and past experiences. This will give the client the opportunity to build a new present and future understanding and identifying triggers and own emotions.
The lack of self-esteem comes from a broad range of negative experiences in our lives. In counselling we'll explore those experiences and find the root cause of clients' low self-esteem issue. We'll examine the negative beliefs they have developed and work on affirming them, start developing gratitude, and help them know and understand their value. I believe all people are created equal so have the same value, however the knowledge of our value is damaged by the adverse and traumatic experiences we go through.
