Psychologist, MC, Registered Psychologist
Your past does not have to be your future. Dissociation is a common response to trauma. While dissociation may seem alarming, it is possible to work through it with a knowledgeable therapist. I have experience and training in working with dissociation and I can help you understand and work through it. Please contact me if you would like to set up a free intake and we can get started on the process of helping you move forward with your future.

Aaron Kapin
Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, SEP, LMT
There are different kinds of dissociative disorders. If you have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), then unfortunately I lack training in that area.
However, if you chronically are feeling dissociated, disconnected from your body and/or the present moment, and want to be able to be more in the here and now, I absolutely have training around that. Somatic Experiencing can be very effective at slowly and gently supporting your nervous system to move out of freeze (dissociation) and into a more vital, grounded headspace.

Mirjam Codirenzi
Psychologist, Registered Psychologist
Identifying and working with dissociation from a somatic approach is important to create more connection with all of your experiences, and re-attune with your life with more awareness. I am passionate about working with the nuances of dissociative experiences, so that we can identify and work through difficult moments that lead to dissociation so they happen less often, and you are more able to fully connect with your life with presence. I use approaches including a somatic trauma approach called Natural Processing as well as Internal Family Systems Therapy to work through and shift dissociative experiences and build more resiliency to be present. This allows you to be more connected with what matters and make aligned and informed choices.
