The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others. I am also a State of Nevada Approved Primary and Secondary Supervisor for Marriage & Family Therapy and Clinical Professional Counselor Interns.

Life brings a mix of growth, challenge, and transformation that we are not meant to navigate alone. My passion is supporting clients through a holistic, mind-body approach that honors the connection between emotional and physical wellbeing. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward a healthier, more grounded, and connected version of yourself.

I have been in practice for almost 20 years. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and business owner who uses all my relationship experiences, both professional and personal to bring compassion, patience, and a desire to help into the therapy space. I have my masters degree from seminary, which gives me the ability to incorporate faith and existential matters into the therapy practice. My faith is very important to me and allows me the perspective of seeing each client's value and purpose here more clearly.

Chico is a north-state California city home to California State University Chico and the closest significant urban center to Paradise, the community almost entirely destroyed by the 2018 Camp Fire—the most destructive wildfire in California history—and the city's mental health landscape has been profoundly shaped by absorbing tens of thousands of Camp Fire survivors who relocated to Chico bringing acute wildfire trauma, grief, and the ongoing stress of rebuilding lives after catastrophic loss. Butte County Behavioral Health provides public mental health services, and many local therapists have developed expertise in disaster trauma, environmental grief, and the specific mental health needs of displaced wildfire survivors. Chico State's counseling center serves the significant student population, and the university's presence gives the city a progressive character that supports an open attitude toward mental health support. Common therapy concerns include wildfire-related PTSD and grief, displacement and housing insecurity, student mental health, anxiety, and the long-term psychological impact of living in a region permanently changed by catastrophic fire.
