Zena Caputo
Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT
Many folks I work with reach out because they're tired of being held back by patterns that aren't serving them. Whether you've felt stuck in cycles of anxiety or self-criticism, by unhealthy use of substances or the legacy of past traumatic or distressing experiences, or feeling lost in midlife, moving through life differently is possible. I ground my work in a range of research-informed approaches, including EMDR, to help you improve your well being and connection with others, enhance your self-understanding, and be more present in important areas of life. Please note, I am based in the LA area though occasionally able to provide in-person therapy in the Bay Area, where I lived for 15 years.

I most often support sensitive, empathic people who are often used to being the “go-to” person for others, yet feel overwhelmed and depleted themselves. I offer online therapy for people throughout California and Maryland. Contact me for a free consultation call to have your questions answered. I look forward to connecting!

Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD
Hypnotherapist, PhD
My work is rooted in a deep interest in how early relational and emotional experience shapes our capacity for self-regulation, connection, desire, and meaning throughout life. I am particularly interested in how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain.
Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed, yet internally experience anxiety, low mood, chronic tension or pain, self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or inaccessible. These struggles may show up in mood, behavior, the body, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely limited to any one area. Rather, they reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before words, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression.
My work integrates psychoanalytic psychotherapy, hypnosis, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis is used as a central clinical tool to support deeper internal contact and to access emotional, bodily, and unconscious material that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone.
I am interested not only in relieving symptoms-such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or behavioral patterns-but in helping people develop a more coherent and compassionate relationship with their inner life: their sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change and greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one’s body, and one’s capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality.

Lorraine Schwartz
Marriage and Family Therapist, MA LMFT
I am a warm, straight forward & occasionally a funny therapist who will ask you a lot of questions to help you find your own authentic answers. I speak plainly & provide a non-judgmental, safe environment where we can explore what's going on in your world at your pace using traditional talk therapy and/or EMDR. I believe sometimes we learn early on that in order to stay safe we need to hide parts of who we really are and to not express our needs. Sometimes we do this too well and for too long. We can work together so you learn to re-connect to those parts of yourself that have stayed hidden. We can work to develop the ability to understand what your needs are and how have them met. The body is designed to propel itself towards health like it does when healing a cut on the skin or getting better from a cold. The same is true for our brain & our mental health. We are designed to heal.

Lizabeth Belli
Pre-Licensed Professional, MA, AMFT
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable, you’re not alone. I work with high-functioning women who appear capable on the outside but privately struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, burnout, or the lasting impact of childhood and relational trauma.
I offer virtual therapy throughout California using a trauma-informed, somatic approach that integrates EMDR, mindfulness, and relational therapy. Therapy can be a steady place to slow down, calm your nervous system, and gently untangle coping strategies that once helped you survive but now leave you exhausted.
Together, we focus on building emotional steadiness, clearer boundaries, and greater self-trust so change feels meaningful and sustainable. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to reach out.
