My passion is supporting clients through a holistic, mind-body approach that honors the connection between emotional and physical wellbeing. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward a healthier, more grounded, and connected version of yourself.

The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others. I am also a State of Nevada Approved Primary and Secondary Supervisor for Marriage & Family Therapy and Clinical Professional Counselor Interns.

I have been in practice for almost 20 years. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and business owner who uses all my relationship experiences, both professional and personal to bring compassion, patience, and a desire to help into the therapy space. I have my masters degree from seminary, which gives me the ability to incorporate faith and existential matters into the therapy practice. My faith is very important to me and allows me the perspective of seeing each client's value and purpose here more clearly.

El Monte is an eastern Los Angeles County city with a predominantly Latino population and a working-class character that distinguishes it from more affluent communities in the San Gabriel Valley, and its mental health landscape reflects the economic pressures, immigration-related challenges, and cultural factors affecting one of the county's more densely populated and underserved communities. Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health provides public services, and community health centers offer some sliding-scale and bilingual care, but private therapy options are limited and access to Spanish-speaking therapists is consistently below the level of need. Common therapy concerns include immigration stress and trauma, economic anxiety, family and intergenerational dynamics, anxiety, depression, and the challenges of seeking mental health support in a community where cultural stigma and language access barriers remain significant. The city's proximity to the broader LA therapy market means that those with the means can access a wide range of Spanish-language and culturally competent private practitioners.
