"Finding one's voice" is a phrase often associated with working with women's issues. Unfortunately we still,
after all of the generations before us and their work on lifting women to equality, have work to do. We still find that we have layers of bias that we have to shed to feel truly free to express ourselves.
Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Certified in Holistic Health
I have experience with supporting women's issues from working in an OB/GYN community clinic and can support domestic violence, pregnancy and prenatal issues, rape, post pardon depression, and miscarriage's.
I am a feminist therapist. Supporting women in healing and navigating all the various issues involved in being a female, whether they are born female or transitioning to female.
I provide a safe and inclusive space for women to explore the stories they tell themselves about their identities, relationships, and societal roles, uncovering the voices behind those narratives. We delve into the impact of patriarchy in their lives and the power of various characters in their history, and we call out the weight of societal norms and expectations. Through therapy, clients co-author new narratives that emphasize their values, strength, resilience, and self-compassion, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and deeper connections with others.
Aware of societal conditioning and its impact on women in a multitude of ways, I'm here to support you and help clear what impedes your fullness and strength.
Since starting graduate school, I have specialized in working with girls and women. I am deeply passionate about the unique stressors that women tend to face and the ways that unfair, inaccurate, and unreasonable social norms can masquerade as personal shortcomings, stressors, and vulnerabilities. My approach with women is to understand the intersection between an individual's biology/genetic inheritance, family upbringing, personal history, and social influences to deepen self-understanding, compassion, and the skills to move through obstacles and achieve a life worth living.

I identify strongly as a feminist therapist, and I believe that gender roles influence socialization; ultimately, our lives. I have an undergraduate degree in Women Studies and believe that gender identity development may impact a variety of issues that female-identified clients experience, like interpersonal relationships, career, aging, sexuality.
