Licensed Clinical Social Worker, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., NASW Diplomate
In private practice for 32 years. I am interested in assisting you with your emotional growth and well-being. It's normal at times in life to have conflicts, but sometimes we need guidance to discover healthier ways to navigate through these challenges to have a more healthy and rewarding life!
Infidelity can be incredibly difficult. Often times the partner that was cheated on is dealing with issues of trust, fear, confusion, self doubt, and depression afterwards. The partner who cheated is often dealing with shame and confusion. I work with couples to heal from infidelity and improve their relationship moving forward
In my work with couples, I don't believe infidelity is the final straw to end the relationship. The challenges that are presented with this issue are great, but I believe we can work to truly find out what is best for the both of you when it comes to managing this.
Our goal is to help you uncover your true potential, and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Our practice style is goal oriented using numerous approaches.
Coming to grips with hurting or being hurt in this manner is more than just some words and hope/expectation that our partner will just move on. It takes ownership and understanding of why we act out the way we do
Working through infidelity is not impossible. Through hard work on both ends and full communication and working on the reasons why there was infidelity to start with, it can be worked on if that is what the couple so chooses to do. Or maybe you are an individual who has been through this topic and want to have some guidance on where to go next. That is also possible in sessions with me.
