I have been in practice for almost 20 years. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and business owner who uses all my relationship experiences, both professional and personal to bring compassion, patience, and a desire to help into the therapy space. I have my masters degree from seminary, which gives me the ability to incorporate faith and existential matters into the therapy practice. My faith is very important to me and allows me the perspective of seeing each client's value and purpose here more clearly.

The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others. I am also a State of Nevada Approved Primary and Secondary Supervisor for Marriage & Family Therapy and Clinical Professional Counselor Interns.

Vallejo is a Solano County city with a complex post-industrial history shaped by the closure of Mare Island Naval Shipyard in 1996, which devastated the local economy and led to the city filing for bankruptcy in 2008, and the psychological legacy of this economic collapse, combined with high crime rates and significant racial diversity across Black, Latino, and Filipino communities, creates a mental health landscape marked by historical community trauma and resilience. The city has become significantly more affordable than the broader Bay Area, attracting a new wave of residents, and this demographic transition creates its own mental health dynamics around displacement, belonging, and community change. Solano County Behavioral Health provides public mental health services, and a private therapy sector is developing as the city's population changes. Common therapy concerns include economic trauma and community grief, racial identity, displacement anxiety, and the complex emotions of living in a city that has faced profound challenges but is working to rebuild.
