Funmi Oni
Counselor/Therapist, MBACP, MSc, Dip in PPC
I know what it's like to feel stuck. For two decades, I battled with low self-esteem, watching it chip away at opportunities and relationships. I've also experienced the complexities of marriage firsthand. These aren't just credentials on my wall – they're chapters of my story that help me truly understand what you might be going through.
Since qualifying as a person-centered counselor in 2009, I've developed an approach that adapts to each person who walks through my door. As a registered BACP member and Gottman-trained relationship counselor, I bring both my professional expertise and genuine human understanding to our sessions.
People often tell me I have a way of making them feel instantly at ease. Maybe it's because I believe in you even before we meet. I've seen, time and time again, how people find their own answers when they're given the right space and support to explore them. There's no rush here – we'll move at whatever pace feels right for you. Life has a way of throwing curveballs when we least expect them. Sometimes, these changes knock us off our feet, and that's okay.
What matters isn't how many times we fall, but knowing there's someone ready to help us stand back up. That's where I come in. Think of me as a trusted guide who'll walk beside you as you rediscover your inner strength. I will be honored to be part of your journey.

John Castleford
Registered Psychotherapist, MA, MIAEB, FRAI
I have been a psychotherapist and mental health coach for many years, and I now specialise almost exclusively in helping those with, or recovering from, cancer. It's a debilitating disease that I have experienced twice, so I know at first hand the effect it can have on the quality of life and particularly how it makes us feel -- either as a reaction to being diagnosed and undergoing treatment, or when in remission as a survivor, the fear of it recurring.
I can also help family members and close friends, who often feel helpless bystanders.
We have all experienced our feelings dominating what we think, and what we do. But heightened emotions stop us thinking clearly. And that can often lead us to feel out of control.
Unlike many therapists, I do not believe that the adverse effect on our thinking and our behaviour from a life-changing event like cancer is a dysfunctional flaw or a disorder that needs treatment. Typical reactions to cancer --anxiety, fear, stress and low mood -- are part of life. Why cancer often triggers is a range of reactions: shock and denial; Shock and denial that it is happening. Coping with fear, anxiety and panic can be difficult, particularly as mood swings may frequently change. Feelings of sadness may range from low moof to extreme depression.
Ultimately we know, at a rational level, that we are mortal. But we also have we also have a very strong instinct to survive. We want to live. And enjoy life. Cancer is not the death sentence it once was.
I can help you come to terms with the reality as well as the inevitable perceptions that may influence you. And I can help you to flourish, rather than just cope and survive.

Fiona Grace
Counselor/Therapist, AdvDipCounselling &Pyschotherapy MBACP
Finding the right counsellor for you is one of the most important parts that will make therapy more effective and successful for you. Its not just about our qualifications but how we connect and work together.
I am a Neurodivergent counsellor and have found this out very late in life, I understand how it feels to just not fit in or be able to conform to the 'norms' of society, to struggle to work out why we are different. How to find ways to learn who you are and love all those 'quirks' that make us different. I understand how this feels and will work with you to help you find your way to manage what you are experiencing.
I have learnt experience with CNBC - childless not by choice and Chronic Pain & Fatigue conditions. With both of these I find it can really be beneficial that I have an understanding of how it feels and not just how it is to study these experiences.
As well as working with Adults I also work as a counsellor with young people in schools, colleges and my private practice.

It's a common issue, these days, lack of motivation for anything, even things we love; lack of energy; unhappiness, and generally feelings which keep us away from enjoying life. It is true that many people do not grasp the feeling of being happy or they have forgotten it because they have been in a low mood for so long and can't seem to get out. But, think for a moment how you would feel if you were to actually, and largely, choose your feelings and could manage that low mood. You can't stop birds from trying to build nests, but YOU CAN stop them from, actually, building them. You don't get to choose what thoughts pop into your head, but YOU CAN choose, one, to stop them from nesting AND, two, how you react to them. In addition, many people, although they get to do things that could fill them and help them build confidence, they just can't feel that. It is because there are issues, in their mind, making them feel stuck in a depressed cycle.
With the implementation of easy and straightforward techniques, you can build your confidence and feel better. You will see life from a positive perspective. We tackle issues such as anxiety, fears, performance issues (sports and other), low self-esteem, low self-confidence, arrogance, bad habits and dilemmas you come across in life. Together, not only will we find solutions that work for you, but you will get the tools to do that on your own, as well! You will find more than just therapy! A way of life!
Here, I becomes You and You becomes I. While you are feeling understood and heard, you are finding real, honest, care for, and ever-lasting solutions to, your problems. Wherever you are in the world, I am here to help! Meetings are online in English or Greek. There is no reason to hesitate. Feel free to contact me today, to start this extraordinary journey. Together!
