Relationship and Marriage Counseling in Delaware

As a relationship therapist, I firmly believe that close partnerships are where the most deep beautiful healing can occur AND a place where we can also get very, very hurt. I also believe strongly that so many relationships have the potential to thrive when given space, time, and a little little from a specialized professional. In my work with relationships, (both monogamous and non-monogamous), I work with clients to find their stuck spots - not just "that fight" that comes up all the time, but to the actual root cause of that fight in the first place (which is often not at all what we think it is). I guide folks through a series of education to help them understand the ways in which they are getting in their own way, followed by a series of interventions designed to help you grow in understanding of yourself and your partner(s) so that you can actually get past the blocks in your relationship, to place where you feel truly safe to be yourself. I have worked with couples/relationships that come to me for the "big things" like infidelity, life-altering decisions, and moving from monogamy to opening their relationship, as well as those who are in a good place and just looking to build better communication skills - all is welcome! We offer pre marital counseling as well as marriage enrichment services. We hold marriage workshops, and help couples overcome things like infidelity, betrayal, sexual dysfunction, loss and other transitions.
