Emma Poxon
Counsellor/Therapist, MA Person-Centred Experiential Counselling
I am a late diagnosed therapist who has an ADHD diagnosis so I know first hand the challenges that self-diagnosed and medically diagnosed people face. I have found that neurodivergent clients naturally gravitate towards me, and now I have my diagnosis it all makes sense! It’s so lovely being able to have that immediate understanding of things that neurotypical people just don’t experience, saving the need to over explain and welcoming in supposed “weirdness”. You are not a problem to be fixed, my aim as your therapist is to try to provide the right conditions to allow you to explore whatever you want to bring to therapy to support your growth. This isn't a therapeutic approach wherein I will set a treatment plan or tell you what to do. We will work together as a partnership rather than me taking away your autonomy. I absolutely love the work I do, it is the biggest privilege being let into people’s personal worlds and seeing the immense growth of my clients. I hope to hear from you soon!

Lisa Sanfilippo
Therapist, MA, MSc, UKCP, MBACP
Attention, motivation and our ability to relate in a healthy way to work, friends, family and getting things done- these are essentials for life. You may be feeling inadequate or frustrated, and identify with ADHD traits but struggle to translate that into how to live in ways that work for you. I've undertaken post-certification trainings in ADHD and neurodiversity- and look forward to helping you understand how your mind works (and doesn't work!) and what helps you to meet life's challenges with more self-compassion and enjoyment.
