Michele Robison, PhD
Psychologist, PhD
Loss is one of the most profound experiences we face as humans. Although it is something we all face, there are differences in how people grieve. Grief can also be compounded by the relationship one had with the person they lost, the conditions of the loss, as well as one's history with previous losses. I help individuals navigate life after loss. I also assist those who feel stuck in their grief. I have extensive training and experience walking alongside those who are grieving.

ClearPath Health LLC
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, EMDR, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT,
Even though grieving is a natural process that includes a variety of coping styles, responses and timelines for healing, approximately ten percent of the population suffers from a cluster of grief symptoms that are unrelenting and seemingly unresponsive to treatment. These symptoms, that sometimes last years following the death, include intense yearning and longing for the deceased loved one; preoccupation with the circumstances of the death; intrusive thoughts and images about the deceased; intense guilt; an overriding sense of disbelief; and, a painful inability to find life meaningful in any significant manner without the presence of the loved one. We are trained in a highly researched and effective sixteen week course of Complicated Grief Treatment aimed at helping the person suffering from this syndrome to learn to love in absence and return to a more meaningful investment in life in spite of the loss.

James Parker
Psychologist, PhD
Grief/loss is a particularly difficult experience to go through, and we all face it at some point in some form. I believe that it is vital to process our grief so that it does not build inside of us, and that a significant step in processing that grief is allowing ourselves to feel it. It is only once we are truly in touch with the grief that we can be in it long enough to identify the meaning it has to us, and that meaning is everything to help us move forward.
