Essence Fiddemon
Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LPC NCC
Individuals that live with Borderline personality disorder can struggle with intense emotions, low self esteem, and impulsive behaviors. I want to help you be able to manage your symptoms so that you are able to live a fulfilling life. I will teach skills and hold you accountable for making the change that you want to see in your life. We will work on your relationships, boundaries, behaviors and thinking patterns that reinforce the pain that you experience. I will use DBT and DBT tools to help you build insight into the negative patterns that reinforce painful experiences. We will work to find balance to help you change your life. My clients will have to commit to a DBT skills group along with weekly individual sessions.

Licensed Professional Counselor, M.Div, MS, EdS,LPC
Borderline personality disorder should not be an accusation but should be a means of understanding how someone attaches to others and to themselves. It can come with a great deal of shame and fear. I believe that, over time, we can help you get to know and understand yourself such that you can respond differently in triggering situations. People with borderline are simply continuing what they had to do to survive before. With patience, courage, and compassion, I believe positive change is possible.

Joe Groninga
Psychologist, PsyD, LP
I have been treating Borderline Personality Disorder for many years. Therefore, it's an area in which I have particular experience. I use a skills-based treatment called Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to focus on teaching my clients techniques in the areas of emotion regulation, relationships, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. Please note that I offer a modified version of this therapy that includes individual therapy only. A full program in DBT typically includes both individual therapy and group therapy which may be a more appropriate fit for you. You and I can discuss which option is the best for your needs.
