Some of these beliefs have origins in childhood experiences, such as not having enough food growing up, abuse that led to a person needing to feel bigger to protect themselves, or even that they would not receive love from a caregiver unless they were 'being a good eater', etc. Once the cause is identified, the belief formed in childhood (sometimes later) can be addressed and released, then changed into a much more helpful belief to empower a person with an increased desire for self-care. Rapid Transformational Therapy helps by suggesting these new beneficial beliefs and desires to the subconscious level of thinking, making them feel natural and achievable.
