Sexual abuse encompasses any non-consensual sexual activity or behavior imposed upon an individual. I would aid those grappling with sexual abuse by furnishing a secure and empathetic environment for them to process their ordeals. Collaboratively, we would delve into the emotional repercussions of the abuse, address symptoms of trauma or PTSD, and devise coping mechanisms to manage triggers and distressing memories. Moreover, I would support them in reestablishing a sense of safety and trust while navigating any relational or intimacy challenges stemming from the abuse. Our objective is to empower them to overcome the trauma, reclaim their identity, and progress towards recovery and healing.

In this therapy, we will revisit traumatic situations, process painful emotions, and change unhelpful beliefs about yourself and the world around you as a result of your trauma. People are often amazed at how quickly this treatment can work and by the very meaningful change that can result. For these reasons, this is one of my favorite treatments to provide.
