I returned to school later in life, initially to show my boys I believed in education. Took Psy 101 my first semester and as they say the rest is history. After 10 years in school, a year internship and finally receiving my degree the journey began. I have worked in adolescent group home, Tennessee State Prison, Nursing/Rehabilitation Homes and community mental health. I am now in my 3rd full year of private practice, and this is where I was meant to be. I know the struggles and my hope is to make it easier on others, as they navigate their struggles. No problem is too small or obstacles too large. At the end of the day my hope is to help people find who they want to be and to learn to be successful at that.
